Prior to embarking on his educational journey at Ebrahim College, Haaris memorised the Noble Qur’an in 2011 at the Islamic Da’wah Academy (Leicester). Whilst studying, Haaris served as an Imam (part time) at Hayes Muslim Centre, where he also taught both children and adults.
Having acquired knowledge in his youth from his beloved father, Haaris Abdus Samad studied and successfully completed the Arabic and Alimiyyah Programme at Ebrahim College (from 2011 to 2016).
Following completion of his Alimiyyah studies, Haaris successfully completed his final Hadith year at Jamiah Sirajul Uloom (Leyton) in 2017.
During his educational journey, Haaris has encountered many respected teachers who have motivated and inspired him. Teachers such as Shaykh Mujahid Ali, Shaykh Ashraf Zaman, Mufti Khalidul Haq, Shaykh Mohammed Sbini, Mufti Habeel, Shaykh Harun Anis and Shaykh Yusuf Khoti.
Following his graduation, Haaris has actively served local communities through different jobs and roles. He served as an Imam (full time) at Hayes Muslim Centre from 2017 to 2018. He is currently an Arabic and Islamic Sciences teacher at Ebrahim College, as well as serving as a Khateeb at several Masjids in West London. Haaris is also the Headteacher at Safar Academy (Slough) and Imam (part time) at Masjid Hira (Feltham).
