This workshop will highlight to students the key characteristics essential to a student of Qurʾān and the status of a bearer of the Qurʾān, drawing from Imām Ājurrī’s Akhlāq Hamalat al-Qurʾān. It aims to nurture an increased awareness of the significance the Qurʾān holds in our lives, and aid in developing a stronger, more meaningful bond beyond rote memorisation.

Ustadha Bint Mohammed

Ustādha Bint Mohammed has pursued traditional Dars-Nizāmī studies as well as memorisation and Qurʾānic sciences under various teachers from South Africa, as well as a number of online institutions. She completed the Jurisprudence Program at White Thread Institute in 2021 – 2022.

Presently, she teaches Qurʾān memorisation locally together with continuing with further studies in ḥadīth under Muftī Ismāʿīl Moosa.
