Join us as we dive into the depths of classical Hanafī jurisprudence with this weekly online sessions for sisters only. This course offers a focused study on selected parts of two foundational texts, providing both a historical and practical understanding of Islamic law:
Al-Mabsūṭ: A commentary on Kitāb al-Asl by Imām Muhammad bin Hasan al-Shaybānī, exploring the profound principles of Kitāb al-Siyar (the Book of Conduct). This section delves into matters related to international relations, treaties, and ethics in interactions beyond the Muslim community.
Radd al-Muhtār by Ibn Ābidīn al-Shāmī: Engage with the intricate legal discussions in Kitāb al-Nikāh (the Book of Marriage) and Kitāb al-Talāq (the Book of Divorce). These chapters provide critical insights into family law and its applications within the Hanafī framework.
This course is open to all sisters and designed to simplify complex topics for easy understanding.
Attending live is highly encouraged for all students, however recordings will be available for circumstances where attending live isn’t possible.
