As an undergraduate fresh out of a four-year university programme, this course was a breath of fresh air. I can’t say I’ve ever looked back at a university course with this much fondness. Some courses brought sadness because I enjoyed them but was relieved to leave the pressure behind. This course was different—I enjoyed every bit of it and didn’t want it to end.

This course has been instrumental in helping me take my first steps towards learning Arabic. Although I’ve always been passionate about the language, I felt deterred by other courses because of work, kids, and daily responsibilities. This course allowed me to learn at my own pace while staying connected with my classmates through instant messaging, which made it feel like a ‘class’ even outside class hours.

An excellent introduction to learning the Arabic language at a very strong foundational level, led by an expert instructor. The course emphasises not only memorising random words and phrases but also helping students truly understand why and how the language is structured the way it is. It is both highly engaging and easily digestible, providing an invaluable foundation for understanding many verses in the Quran and various supplications in Salah. Completing this course has enabled me to start reading beginner-to-intermediate texts in an impressively short time. I highly recommend it to any beginner student of Arabic.
