Rasulullah ﷺ was neither too tall nor too short. He was of average height. He had a large head which was in proportion to his body. He had a thick beard. His head and beard had about 25 grey hairs. His face was luminous and handsome. Whoever saw his blessed face described it to be luminous like the full moon.
His perspiration had a special fragrance. When droplets of his perspiration fell from his face, they looked like pearls. Hadhrat Anas رضي الله عنه says that we did not touch silk and brocade softer than the palms of Rasulullah ﷺ, and we did not smell any musk and umber more fragrant than the fragrance that emanated from the body of Rasulullah ﷺ.
[Sīratul-Mustafā ﷺ, Volume 3, Page 352]Once Abdullāh bin Salām رضي الله عنه, who had been a leading Jewish rabbi, came to the blessed Prophet ﷺ intending to ask him ﷺ three questions. But upon looking at the noor on the face of the blessed Prophet ﷺ, he accepted Islam. Someone asked him what caused him to divert from his original purpose in coming. He pointed towards the radiant face of the blessed Prophet ﷺ and said:
و الله هذا الوجه ليس وجه الكذاب
By Allah, this face is not the face of a liar.
