The rulings of menstruation affect many aspects of our daily ritual worship, and many sisters struggle with confusing and irregular menstrual cycles. Menstruation is also a topic that is sometimes seen as taboo or misunderstood. It is imperative that each Muslim woman strives to attain this knowledge such that she is able to complete her worship correctly.
This course intends to equip you with the required knowledge to tackle issues such as; the complexities of calculating habits, determining the type of discharge they are experiencing, or dealing with irregular bleeding.
Students will be provided with a digital copy of the course material consisting of more than a hundred slides with graphics to ease understanding of the subject matter along with a workbook to solify learning.
This intensive four-day course offers students a deep dive into the topics of hayd (menstruation) and nifas (post-natal bleeding) in Islamic jurisprudence. Designed to provide a thorough understanding within a short timeframe, the course requires punctual attendance, active participation, and consistent note-taking. Students will be encouraged to engage in discussions and clarify their understanding throughout the sessions. To maximize the benefit, completing assigned readings outside class hours will be essential. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive grasp of the intricate rulings and practical applications of hayd and nifas, equipping them with both foundational knowledge and the confidence to apply it accurately.
Recordings of the sessions will be available to students until 31st of December 2024.
