Study of Forty Ahadith – Masjid al-Aqsa

Summary:

It is our responsibility as Muslims to understand the significance of Masjid al-Aqsa. This course will explore forty ahadith to serves as a reminder of the importance of this blessed place in our religion and history. This four-session course will review forty ahadith on the virtues of Masjid al-Aqsa and the virtues of Shām, with translation and commentary of each hadith.

Learning Objectives:
  • Study ahadith related to the virtues of Masjid al-Aqsa
  • Study ahadith related to areas surrounding Masjid al-Aqsa
  • Study ahadith related to the incident of Isra & Miraj
  • Study ahadith related to the virtues Shām
  • Review of translation and commentary of each ahadith

Course Details

It is our responsibility as Muslims to understand the significance of Masjid al-Aqsa. This course will explore forty ahadith to serves as a reminder of the importance of this blessed place in our religion and history. This four-session course will review forty ahadith on the virtues of Masjid al-Aqsa and the virtues of Shām, with translation and commentary of each hadith.

Students are encouraged to attend live with notepad and pen to benefit from the session. Recordings will be available for a limited time to registered students who are unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances.

Mufti Ismail Moosa

Mufti Ismail Moosa completed his Alim course at Darul Ulum Azaadville, and thereafter studied Iftaa under the world-renowned scholar, Mufti Ebrahim Desai (may Allah Ta’ala have mercy on him). Mufti Ismail is also the lead instructor at Ulum al-Hadith (www.ulumalhadith.com) where he has been delivering classes teaching Ma’rifah ‘Ulum al-Hadith of Ibn as-Salah, Nuzha an-Nadhar, and have also introduced a Takhassus fil Hadith program. He has also delivered, through SiblingsOfIlm, an Introduction to the Muwatta of Imam Malik course, and a reading of an Arabic texts titled; of Lamahat min Tarikh al-Sunna and Maʾālim al-Irshadiyyah.
