The purpose of such a science is to ensure we recite the Qur’ān in the form it was revealed to Nabī ﷺ in order to guard the Qur’ān and preserve it from any distortions. Without Tajwīd, the meaning of the Qur’ān would change, resulting in words of disbelief and the curse of the Qur’ān being inflicted upon the reader. Therefore it is compulsory on every Muslim recite the Qur’ān with Tajwīd.

• Ability to recite Arabic words and sentences
• Willingness to learn and practise
• This is an interactive class therefore students will be required to utilise their microphones and switch on their videos when requested
• Punctuality
On completion of this course, the student will be equipped to recite Arabic with the correct pronunciation of all letters and didactical marks.
